Privacy Policy

Ratio builds structured interview kits for hiring teams. This policy covers ratiomodel.com, our marketing website. The Ratio product at ratiomodel.app, and the data customers put into it, is covered by the agreement between Ratio and each customer.

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus basic information about how the site is used.

• Demo requests. Your first and last name, work email, company, company size and what you asked about. We also record the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on, the referring site and any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source).
• Article feedback. Whether a page was useful, and any comment or email address you choose to add, along with the page and your browser type.
• Emails to us. Whatever you include when you write to support@ratiomodel.com.
• Usage data. If analytics are on, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and actions such as submitting a form or playing the product video.
• Technical data. Our hosting and security providers process your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Payments are handled by Stripe on its own checkout page. We never see or store your full card details.

• To reply to your demo request, schedule the demo and follow up about Ratio.
• To answer questions and support requests.
• To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, and to improve the site and our content.
• To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing. We don’t use the site to build advertising profiles.

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:

• Google (Workspace and Sheets for demo requests and email, Calendar for scheduling, Analytics for usage data)
• Supabase (article feedback storage)
• Stripe (payments)
• Our website hosting, network and email delivery providers

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

The site itself does not need cookies to work. To remember how you arrived during a visit, we keep a small note in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. If Google Analytics is on, it sets its own cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

We keep demo requests and emails for as long as they are useful for the conversation with you and for our business records, and article feedback for as long as it helps us improve our content. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing support@ratiomodel.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

The site is served over HTTPS, form data is sent only to the services listed above, and access to it is limited to the Ratio team. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Ratio is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information, we rely on our providers’ standard safeguards.

The site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
